Plan to Kidnap Dwight's Son Foiled

British police foiled a plan to kidnap a couple of children including Harvey, a son born to star footballer Dwight Yorke and British model "Jordan," according to a report from England's Daily Telegraph.

The plan was reportedly to kidnap Harvey as well as the child Jordan has with Peter Andre (her new partner), and demand 1 million Pounds Sterling.

ELITE police have stopped a sinister plot to kidnap Jordan and Peter Andre's children.

The family has spent three months under police protection since a tip-off Harvey, three, and 11-month-old Junior were in danger, the News of the World reported.

Detectives discovered a gang of foreign and London crooks planned to take one of the children hostage and demand a #1 million ransom.

The threat was described as "very real".

The father of Jordan's elder son Harvey is Sydney FC footballer Dwight Yorke.

He is out of Australia at the moment training with Manchester United ahead of captaining Trinidad and Tobago in the upcoming World Cup.

A panic button and a monitored alarm system have been installed at Jordan's 750,000-Pound country home in Maresfield, East Sussex, the paper reported, and she has a bodyguard for when she goes out.

An official Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed: "The Metropolitan Police specialist kidnap unit are investigating intelligence about a threat to kidnap and extra security has been put in place to protect the family."
