Community Development Minister to Clean & Beautify Sunday

The Ministry of Community Development will launch its "Clean and Beautify Trinidad and Tobago" campaign from the Barrackpore Regional Complex, this Sunday, June 27, 2010, as it answers Government’s national call to improve the country's physical environment.

As part of the observance, from the Barrackpore Regional Complex, Community Development Minister Nizam Baksh will distribute 500 plants to villagers on Sunday morning. The 250 ornamental plants and 250 fruit trees that make up the 500 will be given to resident for the purpose of beautification of the area.

Minister Baksh will officially launch the initiative from 9:00 am and the media is cordially invited to provide coverage.
